Novisiat adalah tahap dasar dalam proses formasi, yang bertujuan mengenal tuntutan hidup religius, menghayati nasihat-nasihat Injili, dan membuka diri pada misi dalam komunitas. Di akhir tahap ini, novis mengajukan permohonan untuk diterima dalam profesi (kaul) pertama. <\/p>\n

Para junior adalah religius dengan kaul sementara yang meneguhkan pilihan mereka untuk mengikuti Kristus, berintegrasi dalam hidup komunitas, dan ambil bagian dalam misi kerasulan. Pada tahap ini mereka melanjutkan formasi untuk mempersiapkan diri menuju konsekrasi definitif. <\/p>\n
